Each year it seems that less and less time is devoted to Thanksgiving. We are immediately swept into the rush toward Christmas and the bustle of the season. So, it is my hope that you’ll take a moment to let us joyfully say thanks for your support this year as you review some of the ways your giving has made an impact.
It is still early December, but our client numbers have exceeded the previous three years. Over 950
unique clients have been served inside our centers. In these dark times when abortion is viewed as
“normal” and “empowering”, we are so thankful to reach these precious young people. The number of “vulnerable” clients has never been higher. I’m so thankful that we are seeing those who
need us most.
Our staff has been able to perform more ultrasounds than in any previous year in our history. Because the abortion pill is now easily accessed online, ultrasound has become a necessary part of protecting women from harm. We are grateful to reach and serve those who are most at risk.
The number of fathers present at the ultrasound has more than doubled over last year. The father of the baby is the most influential person for a woman is making a pregnancy decision. As we invite him to view his child, his presence brings him into the process, honors his role, and provides support to the mother.
The number of prayer partners (called the Road Crew) has grown. The ultrasound machine is the most expensive thing in the centers, but it is not the most powerful thing. Prayer is what changes hearts and minds, and I am so thankful to those who pray regularly for us and for our clients.
More babies are alive. Some have been safely born, some are still waiting to be born. While a few moms are still in a decision-making moment, we know that 420 moms have chosen life for their babies this year. As you walk through this Christmas season, thank God for His inexpressible gift! Be at peace knowing that you have made a difference. You have extended hope, joy and peace to a weary world!
