Lord, we thank You and we praise You for hearing and answering prayers! One of the clients from a previous email, click here to read more, decided to continue her pregnancy and parent! We pray for her continued strength, that she leans on You Father, because the road is still lined with obstacles. After choosing to keep her baby, the father decided to leave her because she did not go through with the abortion. She is currently unemployed and living with her parents. With an active toddler to take care of she is concerned about finances and the added responsibility of a newborn. So Lord, we humbly ask You to provide for her every need and shine a light on the path You have chosen for her and her growing family.
Additionally, continue to pray for a client, who up until recently, has been abortion minded, but during the end of her last appointment seemed to be considering life and parenting. Strengthen her resolve, Lord, and shield her from the pressures and discouragements she may face, especially from those around her who do not support her decision. Pray that God would protect her from the pressures of evil and help her to stand strong in her decision to parent.
Lastly, we lift up a client who has attempted to seek abortion multiple times in recent weeks. Lord, we thank you for the medical professionals who upheld the sanctity of life by refusing to provide the abortion pill when she was emotionally distressed. She is now too far along to take the abortion pill and a surgical abortion would be the only way to terminate the pregnancy. We have come to learn that she did not show up for her scheduled surgical abortion and has postponed it to the following week. Pray that she would heed the convictions stirring in her heart and choose life for her unborn child. Help her to recognize the support and resources available to her through our centers, and guide her steps towards seeking the assistance she needs.
Lord, we entrust these requests into your loving and capable hands, knowing that You are the source of all comfort, strength, and provision. In Your name, we pray, amen.
