Pray for Our Center Leadership

Writer: Network of LifeNetwork of Life

Our hope for this month of prayer is that you’ll get to know our staff more personally and gain a deeper understanding of the daily struggles and joys in this ministry. This week, we’re lifting up our Center Leaders in prayer:

  • Stephanie – Monroeville Center Director

  • Mary – Client Services Director

  • Rhodora – Oakland Center Director

  • Megan – North Side Center Director

One of the hardest challenges our leaders face is the heartbreak of connecting deeply with a woman considering abortion—only for her to stop responding to calls and texts. The weight of not knowing what happened can feel like a loss. We can provide love, support, and truth, but in the end, the decision is hers. While we trust God to work in her heart, the uncertainty can be heavy. Please pray for our leaders as they continue to surrender each woman to the Lord.

Personal Prayer Requests from Our Center Leaders

Stephanie: Pray that I will continually seek and trust the Lord in all things. The enemy tries to fill me with doubt—making me feel inadequate or unqualified to sit across from these women. What I do every day is both my greatest joy and one of my greatest fears. I deeply desire to help these women, but the weight of knowing how to do so can be intimidating. Please pray that I remain aligned with the Holy Spirit, relying fully on His wisdom and guidance.

Rhodora: Please pray for a client who plans to take the abortion pill this week. She recently committed to her faith and is preparing for baptism on Easter. No one is pressuring her—her mother and boyfriend are supportive of whatever she decides—but she feels this isn’t the right time to have a child. When we spoke, she said she felt more at peace about abortion because she couldn’t yet see a heartbeat on the ultrasound. We lovingly shared the truth with her, that life is present even when it isn’t yet visible. She was open and kind, but she needs serious prayer to truly see God’s plan and trust Him through this.

Megan: My heart longs for the North Side Center to become a strong pillar in the community. Please pray that God gives us strategic ways to expand our presence, so that more women and men walk through our doors, choose life, and ultimately commit their lives to the Lord.

Mary: Pray for the unknowns. Apart from the heartbreak of a mother choosing abortion, one of the hardest parts of this work is not knowing what happened. There are so many women I’ve connected with deeply—prayed for daily—who suddenly stop responding. I wonder about them for months. Did she continue her pregnancy? Did she go through with the abortion? While we have had mothers return with their next pregnancy and share that they chose life, the uncertainty is difficult. I carry dozens of clients in my heart, longing to know their stories.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer. Your intercession makes a difference in the lives of our staff, our clients, and the precious little ones we fight for every day.

Praise Reports :

Monroeville Center: We can’t stop giving God praise for our brand-new Monroeville Center! Just months ago, this felt like an impossible dream—but God. He is truly a Mountain Mover. What seemed out of reach became reality through His provision. Thank You, Lord, for making a way beyond what we could have imagined!

Men's Ministry Growth: We are thrilled to share that North Side now has two male volunteers who will be serving in the center two days a week. This is a huge step forward in supporting the fathers who walk through our doors and in expanding our men’s program. Praise God for sending the right people at the right time!

A Client’s Transformation: One of our North Side clients has a history of multiple abortions and remained undecided about this pregnancy for a long time. Today, at 29 weeks, she is not only excited but has finally shared the news with her family—who is overjoyed! This is such a victory, and we give God all the glory!

An Overflow of Generosity: This week, we saw an incredible outpouring of love from our donors! Every item on the wish list for an upcoming baby shower was fulfilled. The mother, due in April, has been in deep denial and hadn’t purchased a single baby item. She’s walking this journey alone and struggling financially, so this baby shower will be a beautiful blessing for her. We can’t wait to share more after Thursday’s celebration!
