The Strength of Unity.

Last week, I attended the third annual Summit hosted by the Pennsylvania Pregnancy Wellness Collaborative. 123 leaders from pregnancy centers across PA gathered to hear from key voices in the life movement—both local and national. We attend to become equipped, engaged, and inspired to meet the emerging challenges and respond to the many changes in the abortion climate. Go to the website to learn more.

The participants were leaders from 45 pregnancy center organizations with over 90 locations and representing 85% of counties in Pennsylvania.

As the Vice President of the PPWC, I was most impacted by the spirit of unity in the room. While we serve different populations with varying tailored resources, there was a humble teachable attitude among these seasoned leaders. We're all on the same mission: to reach, serve, and empower families to make abortion unthinkable in our state. As more and more abortion clinics close, we feel that we are closer than ever to this goal!

John 17: 22, 23.  I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Unity is one of the reasons we will win.

The Power of Prayer.

The Network of Life Board of Directors is committed to prayer. Rather than viewing prayer as a last resort or a "Lord bless our plans" strategy, they lead with prayer asking every Board Member to commit to fasting and prayer as the standard. We've seen the amazing results.

Our supporters too are asked to pray. The Road Crew is a weekly email enlisting hundreds to pray for one intention (just one!) every week. God answers these specific prayers in powerful ways.

Real Time Road Crew prayer warriors receive live texts asking for immediate prayers for clients during the appointments. These "abortion determined" clients' hearts melt as prayers are answered in real-time.

Genuine Maternal Health.

"Women's health" has come to be synonymous with abortion. This intentional "Newspeak" is based on a decades-long branding strategy to frame abortion as part of women’s healthcare. Millions of Americans (and much of Congress) have been persuaded that “abortion is healthcare” and that Planned Parenthood uniquely provides services that benefit women’s health. Planned Parenthood’s own annual reports prove that myth to be false.

According to a Charlotte Lozier Institute report earlier this year, “In 2022-23, 96.9% of the time, women seeking help related to their pregnancy at Planned Parenthood were sold an abortion rather than given prenatal care, provided care for a miscarriage, or helped to make an adoption plan.” The rise of the abortion pill has harmed countless women while removing them from any medical care before or after the abortion. Just last month, the local Planned Parenthood in Pittsburgh was forced to remove their deceptive promotion of "pre-natal care" from the list of services. They have never provided this service.

We have seen firsthand how our medical services and our Wellness Journey has empowered women to confidently choose life while holistically protecting maternal and infant health. We continue to provide early pregnancy consults during the weeks while women wait to get into prenatal care. This vital screening launches our Wellness Journey which includes Birth Mapping, Early Infant Care, Childbirth Classes, Breastfeeding, Post Abortion Healing, and a "4th Trimester" Visit. Sessions include the father of the baby and are in groups to foster community and support. Each class includes a Biblical devotional for life transforming impact.

James 1:27. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
